Successful seminar premiere in Argentina
Despite of the current difficult economic situation there are also some good news to be announced. A group of German participants leaded by SMKT CEO Dominicus Rohde took advantage of the opportunity to take part in the premiere of the seminar “Culture, History and Religion of Argentina”. The in every way positive resonance of all participants have been a great reward for all the efforts of the Argentinean SMKT team and gives us courage and strength for the future.

Willingness to travel increasing again
It seems as if the terror attacks of last year had slowed down the general willingness to travel for a while, but in the meantime an increase gets more and more obvious. Our college in Tünsdorf, Germany received a group of seminar participants from the Czech Republic, two Mexican groups took part in seminars in Dover and Tünsdorf and another group from Germany has also been travelling to Dover. At the moment a small Mexican groups is attending a seminar in Dover. Of course we hope that this pleasant development continues and look with optimism into the future.

SMKT website with new design
After the thorough rework of the SMKT website during the past year it received another face-lifting in the last weeks. New graphics have been developed and integrated into the design to give the site a more professional appearance. Also the content has been modified and improved, though until now only the English version is online. But we are of course already working on the translations. We want to say thanks to Chris Gillham, George Johnson and Manuel Zieger, who invested a lot of time and effort. If you have any suggestions or critics concerning the site, feedback is always welcome – please send your comments to Chris Gillham (chrisgillham@smkt.org, English) or Manuel Zieger (manuelzieger@smkt.org, English, German, Spanish)
